Where to start, I got next day delivery which was a great service for such a large grill, delivered by DPD again good service. The grill however has lots of areas of minor damage, bent panels, rust on one of the chrome effect handles. After first use, most of what appears to be a protective paint coating on the grille has now come off revealing the bare metal below, the grill lid doesn't quite line up despite fitting correctly.
Overall I would not purchase this particular grill again due to the issues I've noted. What looked like a great grill turned out to be just ok.
Delivery very quick turn round on that note, opened up the box to find a lot of parts damaged. No suitable for use sent photos across of damage still awaiting response.
What a disappointment - I did read some of the reviews from others stating the BBQ turning up with dents but thought they were perhaps unlucky. What I have learnt is that this seems like usual business for them. Every part of the BBQ I received is damaged. Bent, scratched and also covered in pet hair. I could tell the box had been previously opened by likely another unsatisfied customer and double celotaped back down. They are not minor dents and scratches - they are huge. As per the title, it looks as though it was recovered from a refuse centre.
This company should be embarrassed. Please check what you are sending your customers
This is the worst barbecue I have ever bought. From the pictures, it looked great—strong, solid, and well-made—but the reality is very different.
The barbecue is poorly built and feels very flimsy. It is not strong enough for regular use, and if it rains, water gets inside easily. Within just a few weeks, signs of rust started to appear. In my opinion, even a much cheaper barbecue would last longer than this one.
I am very disappointed with the overall quality. The doors arrived dented, do not close properly, and there are several dents throughout the unit. I noticed that other reviewers had mentioned these issues, but I did not pay enough attention at the time.
Unfortunately, after spending hours assembling it, returning it is not a simple option. Looking back, I would rather have spent a couple of hundred pounds more on a higher-quality, more durable barbecue.
This experience taught me that pictures can sometimes be misleading. The product looks impressive in the advertisement, but in reality, it falls far short of expectations. I would not recommend this barbecue to anyone looking for a sturdy, long-lasting product.
Received 1 week ago and only just assembled. 3 parts were damaged despite perfect packages, chimney all twisted, side panel dented and manufacturing flaws. Design looks lovely from the front when assembled witb 2 doors but obly half of the back is covered making it pretty pointless as a storage area for either coals or utensils with spiders etc entering or getting damp. Faults not returned as I didnt have the space to layout all of the items and check before compilinv and tbh...I just wanted to get the damn thing built. Manufacturiing flaws on steel coal cages where they are not welded in line means screws dont line up correctly. Welder must be blind as its easily a good 5mm out from a straight join. Needless to say its all put together with a little bit of jiggery pokery and cross threading
Functionally looks like a solid solution despite the above but awaiting for the UK weather to be nice enough to fire up..Cover is a good fit. Pizza stone is a tad "plain" and smoker..is what it is. Would I recommend for the money? No. Oh and 3 hrs to unpack and assemble. Everything was well packed but I have a feeling the damage is either done during picking or packing the parts for the order.
