Where to start, I got next day delivery which was a great service for such a large grill, delivered by DPD again good service. The grill however has lots of areas of minor damage, bent panels, rust on one of the chrome effect handles. After first use, most of what appears to be a protective paint coating on the grille has now come off revealing the bare metal below, the grill lid doesn't quite line up despite fitting correctly.
Overall I would not purchase this particular grill again due to the issues I've noted. What looked like a great grill turned out to be just ok.
The Ignis smoker arrived in two boxes and took around two hours to assemble. It is good quality however the lid did have a large dent when unpacked.
Received 1 week ago and only just assembled. 3 parts were damaged despite perfect packages, chimney all twisted, side panel dented and manufacturing flaws. Design looks lovely from the front when assembled witb 2 doors but obly half of the back is covered making it pretty pointless as a storage area for either coals or utensils with spiders etc entering or getting damp. Faults not returned as I didnt have the space to layout all of the items and check before compilinv and tbh...I just wanted to get the damn thing built. Manufacturiing flaws on steel coal cages where they are not welded in line means screws dont line up correctly. Welder must be blind as its easily a good 5mm out from a straight join. Needless to say its all put together with a little bit of jiggery pokery and cross threading
Functionally looks like a solid solution despite the above but awaiting for the UK weather to be nice enough to fire up..Cover is a good fit. Pizza stone is a tad "plain" and smoker..is what it is. Would I recommend for the money? No. Oh and 3 hrs to unpack and assemble. Everything was well packed but I have a feeling the damage is either done during picking or packing the parts for the order.
The BBQ was delivered on time and packaged really well, although there are two small areas of damage in spite of this. My early overall view is that the BBQ looks to be good value for money, good quality and cooks well although the more I use it will result in better end results. A couple of potential improvements would be the addition of tool hooks and for easier storage and manoeuvrability it would assist if the side shelves folded down when not in use. Time will tell on how well the BBQ will cope with the British weather but the excellent cover will help.
Every body who came ro pur BBQ said wow that really nice and unusual which I loved
