Bought the 6x2 bbq along with the spit but it works out you can’t use the ice tray or chopping board when using the spit I have brought this to the attention of the product team to be told it is what it is .wish I’d bought else where

So I purchased this 6+2 BBQ as a replacement for a well worn 4 burner. This is the first Cosmo I’ve owned and so far I have to say it’s a beast.
It came in three very large boxes, and was delivered on the day of my choice. The packaging was excellent, all very secure and neatly done.
Once unpacked, and all items checked and accounted for, nothing missing, it was into the build. Having a quick read through of the instructions and laying out the parts, it was onto the assembly.
Now, I’ve put together a lot of flat packs, and other self assembly items, and I have to say this was brilliant!
Many of the screws were already in place, just a case of unscrewing them and sliding the appropriate part in and retighten.
The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow.
In total it took me about two hours to complete the build.
The quality of the actual BBQ is of a very high standard. Especially the wheels, not little flimsy plastic rubbish but fairly hefty industrial trolley wheels.
The burners are great and the cooking griddles are also fairly heavy and great quality.
The little touches such as the bottle opener, hooks for utensils, the chopping board and what I’ve decided is a beer cooler, think it’s actually a bin for chopped rubbish or to hold meat prior to cooking, but a bag of ice and a few tins will also be handy.
Plenty of storage room underneath, and the fact that the gas bottle is internal to the grill keeps it looking sleek.
This is the biggest BBQ I’ve purchased and am so looking forward to a summer of grilling.
Would I recommend Cosmo, most definitely.

Ordered the grill on bank holiday weekend and it was delivered the following Tuesday - can’t ask for more than that.
Putting it together can just about be done with one person but a few bits are made easier with someone helping. Even so, it still took a good 2.5 hours to do, which was mostly down to the somewhat unclear instructions. A few of the diagrams show screws being inserted but not the type so there was an element of deduction to figure it out.
Having fired it up, it has plenty of heat - really plentiful. The window on the lid is also a massive bonus.
One final thing: whilst the packaging was excellent, it’s not logical. So it arrives in 3 boxes, each one numbered. I thought the natural place to start was box 1. But no, you need to dip into all 3 and rummage around for the next part. A minor niggle, but something that could be made more logical.

BBQ arrived on the requested delivery date & was very well packaged. It took a couple of hours to unbox and assemble all the pieces; all pretty straight forward. The unit is very well designed & has some great features.
The website says the shelf will hold up to an 11kg gas bottle, but the instructions say 13kg. I have a 13kg Calor bottle & it fits in the space provided no problem. It’s a nice feature to keep the bottle hidden away out of sight like that.
Overall, a great BBQ. Feels quite premium & I look forward to many years of grilling ahead!

I have had several gas BBQ’s over the years, but this one is a different level all together. The way it’s constructed makes it fairly simple to put together. The instructions could be a little better, but the ease with many screws, already in the holes ready for the next part to come in is great. Only used it once so far, but with the weather forecast for this week, should see more action. PS, instructions for the smoking grill please.
