Please note that you require 3x 24cm & 1x 18.5cm grill grates to completely cover the cooking area of our Platinum 6+2 & Premium Black 6+1 gas barbecue. You have the option to replace the 24cm grill grates with 24cm griddle plates. Refer to images for guidance.
Usage Instructions
When used with our barbecues, this cast iron griddle is designed to be used with adequate airflow. When in use, the entire cooking surface of the barbecue must not be fully covered with flat plates or griddles, as this can restrict airflow.
A grill grate does not need to be used to fill the remaining space. However, part of the cooking surface must remain open to allow proper airflow and ensure the barbecue operates correctly.
Please ensure this guidance is followed during use.
Care & Maintenance
Cast iron griddles should be cleaned by soaking and washing in soapy water as soon as possible after use and once cool down.
NEVER place cast iron products in a dishwasher as this will reduce the structural integrity of the product, remove any or all pretreated seasoning and likely cause rusting.
