Spare Parts for XL Smoker

Had to replace old tray because of corrosion, after 1st time use with replacement there are signs the coating has disappeared in places. Also the 'cam' part on the brackets has been welded at the wrong angle so when the crank handle is fully wound in the tray only lifts about half way now. So overall a bit disappointing. Matt.

The charcoal tray had rusted into a big hole - my fault for not emptying it properly last year! Was good to get a spare. Could not just replace the tray as the screws would not turn so had to go for tge tray plus arms at £49. A bit steep! Did swither about just buying a new bbq - £150

got new coals holder for my BBQ.fitted in no time and all good

The three star rating is purely based on this part and the fitting of it. New charcoal try looks and feels more robust than the original which was a bit flimsy for the job it had to do. Fitting the new tray was a bit of a pain. The side brackets have to be swapped from the old tray to the new and over time the nuts and bolts had virtually welded together from the heat so they had to be hacked off. New bolts were supplied but no washers or nuts? Much easier if the tray came with side brackets welded on.
